just a little news update
current fixations (2009-06-20):
- mike pedulla is crafting a new bass for
me, customized to my specifications; a true one-of-a-kind instrument. i
hope to take delivery some time in august or thereabouts; i'm thrilled and a
little bit awestruck that i'm so incredibly fortunate as to have such a
prominent luthier working on my wacky ideas...
- it's tennis season, so i've been following that as much as possible; it was
incredible to see my guy roger win his
14th grand slam event and his personal career grand slam at the same time
at the french open, and now he'll try
for a record-breaking 15th grand slam trophy at wimbledon. i've even been playing a
bit, thanks to the gracious indulgence of my friend matt. fun!
